I was serving Jury Duty in Santa Monica this past August. when I came across and article in the Outside mag I'd brought along in the event of boredom. I came across an article about a pair of shoes that they claimed both male and female testers claims were just about perfect: Adidas Supernova Glides.

After reading the article, I just had to check them out personally so during a lunch break I trekked over to the Adidas Superstore on the Promenade and bought a pair for $100.00. When I went running that evening they felt a bit faster than my usual shoes. And they were supremely comfortable as well. I tested them out on my treadmill and noticed that I was running about 1/2 mile per hour faster in them than normal. Perhaps it was just the adrenaline, but over the past couple of months the excitement has worn down but they're still the fastest feeling shoes I have. And, when you're training at 9 to 10 miles per hour.....that's a big deal!
Of course, for me $100.00 is a big deal too. Fortunately, they are heavily discounted on the web and I secured another pair for $59.00, no tax and $10.00 shipping. (They're made for women as well with the same name.)

I've been running f0r 30 years now and I'd have to agree that these are best shoes I've had.
